Thanks Dave and Kay for the opportunity to stay with you again. Even though Ophelia brought a few dark clouds, you more than brightened our days. Your hospitality is very much appreciated. The Waterway Inn is the most unique and special place anywhere along the NC or SC coast. Outstanding accommodations, convenience and great fishing are just a few of the positive aspects of our visit. We shall return very soon.

Thanks to Dave and the Waterway Inn. Our families were in for a weekend to attend a wedding and Dave's hospitality was put to the test. We are a high maintenance group and no matter what the issue, Dave graciously accomodated our requests. What a wonderful setting! Please accept our thanks and know that we are all ready planning a trip back.

We believe this is one of North Carolina's best kept secrets. We ND THE REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE WERE NICE EXTRAS. HAVING MY OWN BOAT SLIP AND A PLACE TO CLEAN OUR DAILY CATCH WERE PERFECT. SOMETIMES I THOUGHT THAT YOU HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PERFECT WEATHER. HOPEFULLY WE WILL BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET ANOTHER RESERVATION NEXT SPRING AND FALL. WE LOOK FORWARD TO STAYING WITH YOU AGAIN.

DAVE and the WATERWAY INN are GREAT! If you need anything just ask Dave. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, huge bathrooms, plenty of towels, and nice and cool rooms. And for fellow kayaker's it's the perfect place. Right on the water; walk out the door and you are ready to go.. On our recent trip we mentioned to Dave we would be back from our kayak trip around 6:00 pm and it was more like 9:00 pm when we came rowing in and found Dave and his neighbor getting there boats ready to come look for us. Now I ask where else can you stay and receive the care and attention Dave and the Waterway Inn offer? Thanks alot and we will be back.

We just returned from 2 nites at the Waterway Inn and had a wonderful time! ( Actually the entire second floor had a great time until 1:30 AM) There are very few places where the owner sits on the steps and chats with you , as you watch beautiful boats go by within yards of your room. Waterway was friendly, accomadating and a great place to stay. We'll be back!

Why have I waited almost a year to "wave a banner" for the Waterway? We came to Swansboro to particpate in an art show put on by Krisit's Gallery and Bob Thomas. He told us to reserve a room at the Waterway Inn. Needless to say that was a sound piece of advice. Kay and Dave were wonderful to us, even loaned us their Mercedes while our car was being repaired. You tell me any major hotel that would do that! We will be back at the art show on April 26 & 27, 2003 and back at the Waterway Inn too. What a great place and what a great hostess and host. Ever heard the saying the restaurant is only as good as the cook? Same goes for motels and there are no better people than Kay and Dave. See you two in April. Dave and Louanne Neamand

I recently stayed at the Waterway Inn with my boyfriend and it marked a special time for us because we got engaged there, this place is wonderful. I enjoyed the views and the total "homey" feeling of the place. The owners are awesome people, you couldn't go somewhere else and get the same great people and the same great place. This is a place that everyone should check out.

I hate to add my positive comments, because everyone will want to stay at the Waterway Inn and I'll never be able to get a reservation. Anyhow, Kay is wonderful, Brandy is divine and Dave is bearable (just kidding Dave). I have never stayed ANYWHERE else, besides the Waterway Inn, that I felt like a member of the family (respected member, at that!). The rooms are immaculate, the price is right, the hospitality is exceptional. One visit and you'll never want to stay anywhere else!! Regards, Randy McGovern randy.d.mcgovern@usa.alcatel.com

Swansboro is a very quaint litte Village, that we fell in love with years ago. In the process of visiting Swansboro and the area, We discovered the Waterway Inn. It was such a neat and nice looking place, we wrote the phone number down. When the time came for our next vacation, we called The Waterway Inn, and made our resverations, bringing two other families with us. That is one of the best decisions we have ever made. We had a Great vacation. We dearly love The Waterway Inn. We just can't wait to try out the boat slips. They have a very nice picnic area over looking the Inter Coastal Water Way. They have a very nice area to fish from, and they have a cleaning area to clean the fish. The women folks have a great little Village (Swansboro) very near by to do daily shopping trips. The rooms are very neat clean and comfortable. Dave and Kay are the nicest people, and the best host and hostess. We just can't wait until our next trip to vacation with them. Thank you Dave and Kay !!!
